SLCC Men Steal Three Point Win on the Road

1st 2nd Final SLCC 43 28 61 NIC 33 28 71 Salt Lake City – The Salt Lake Community College Men's Basketball team upset 10th ranked North Idaho 71-61 in Bruin Arena tonight. Salt Lake used a 19-0 run early in the 1st half to take a ten point lead into halftime and never gave the lead back. The win moves Salt Lake's record to 17-4 overall and 4-2 in conference play. Four Bruins finished the game in double digits led by Louis Garrett with 14 points on 6 of 14 shooting while Darian Cartharn added 12 points on 5 of 9 shooting. Agustin Ambrosino and Skylar Halford each scored 11 in the game and Gabe Kindred finished with 10. Jayson Chessman collected a team high 10 rebounds in the game. Salt Lake (17-4, 4-2) will do battle with #9 ranked Southern Idaho tomorrow at 5 p.m. in Bruin Arena.
