SALT LAKE CITY- The 7th ranked SLCC Bruin Volleyball team punished CNCC in three sets 25-14, 25-14 7 25-8. The Bruins held CNCC to -.038 hitting percentage while the Bruins hit .306 in the three sets. The Bruins (21-7, 7-2) remain in a three way tie for tops in the SWAC.
Twelve Bruins registered a kill in the match with Leyla Redondo leading the pack with five kills on ten attempts. As a team Salt Lake recorded a season high 15 aces with Whitney Ashton having a season high 4 aces. The Bruin block collected 11 team blocks and Ashton led with 13 digs.
No. 7 Salt Lake (21-7, 7-2) will close out the regular season with a trip down to Ephraim, Utah to take on Snow College. In their previous match up the Bruins came out on top with a 3-1 win.
