(1/8/10)-In the first conference games of the New Year, Salt Lake defeated CEU 69-58, Snow women continued to play well defeating CNCC 65-43, and in the battle of the Idaho's-the North beat the South 66-54.

SLCC Women just keep Winning; Make it 15 in a Row
PRICE, Utah (January 8, 2010) – The Salt Lake Community College Women’s Basketball team keeps the winning streak alive with a 11 point win over College of Eastern Utah. The second ranked team in the NJCAA is now 15-1 overall and 7-0 in the SWAC.
Haley Holmstead lead Salt Lake with 29 points hitting 9 of 9 shots from the foul line. Sheila Adams added 10 points along with Kelsey Sparkman’s eleven on 5 of 7 shooting. Salt Lake outrebounded Eastern Utah 47-21 with 22 of the boards on the offensive end.
No. 2 Salt Lake (15-1, 7-0 SWAC) takes the short trip over to Rangley Colorado to face Colorado Northwestern who is winless in the SWAC.
