The Scenic West Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week is redshirt freshman Josten Thomas from the College of Southern Idaho.
Thomas led the Golden Eagles to a 65-57 win over then first place Salt Lake CC by collecting his eighth double-double of the season with 11 rebounds and 17 points.
Two night later, the 6-7 forward from Washington DC added another 17 points and 8 rebounds in a 99-85 win over Snow College.
Abbie Beutler
The Scenic West Athletic Conference Women's Player of the Week has been awarded to Abbie Beutler from Snow College.
On Thursday night Beutler led the Badgers to a 79-71 victory over the College of Southern Idaho. She scored 20 points and capped the night off by hitting 8-10 from the charity stripe.
Two nights later, Beutler played a pivotal role in the Badgers 68-67 road win over first place North Idaho College. She scored 14 points and finished 6-8 from the free throw line.
